World of Kandy Texas
Me and My Calvins
Starring Texas Sweetheart Lexie Marlow
Who recalls Lexie’s first Kandy appearance as one of our Kandystand girls? The home schooled girl from deep in the heart of football country has graduated onto the World of Kandy stage. Is a Krush of the Month in her future? That, dear readers, we will leave up to you decide.
Tell us about your home town?
I am originally from Midland, Texas. Heart of oilfield country. That’s right; I am a born and raised oil patch kid. If you are going to be from Texas it is best to be from West Texas. However, there isn’t much to do in West Texas and I could not pursue my modeling in West Texas so now I call Los Angeles, CA home.
From what we understand, you didn’t attend public or private school, that you were home schooled?
Yes, I was home schooled starting in high school. My family likes to travel and I wanted to get into modeling so home schooling was the best choice for me.
Do you think you missed out on anything by not attending public school?
No, I don’t think I missed out on anything. I think I was privileged to travel the world and to pursue my modeling dream.
What is one of the best things about growing up in a small town?
Everything is close; you can get around the entire town in 15 minutes or less.
Are you a Cowboys or Texans fan?
Being from Texas I support both Teams. If I have to choose one then it would be…….Go Cowboys!
Is everything truly bigger in Texas, as they say?
Texans like everything bigger. Big Trucks, Big Houses, Big Pets, Big Ranches, Big Bank Accounts and of course Big Hair.
What is the best part about Texas?
I can’t speak for all of Texas but the best part of West Texas is the people and the sunsets.
Something we have always wanted to know, are the stars at night big and bright deep in the heart of Texas?
In West Texas, unless there is a dust storm YES! … The stars at night shine big and bright deep in the heart of West Texas.
What’s new on the horizon for you, what do you have coming up career wise?
I have several projects in the works. I hope to have a bill board or two coming up in LA. Maybe some print work and I would love to do some fitness modeling as well. And, of course, it is always an honor to be a KANDY girl and to be featured in Kandy Magazine. I love KANDY.
